[A] Budget: Looking for proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide bond counsel services of a law firm to serve as its bond and related disclosure counsel to current and future bond issuances such counsel will be expected to furnish legal services to the city in all matters related to the issuance of debt, monitoring current debt, and the financing of public projects. such services may include, consultation, advice, and document drafting related to appropriate and advantageous public financing mechanisms, prioritizing all municipal finance options in the best interest of the city from a legal, financial, and practical perspective counsel and legal work for proper debt authorization; rendering legal opinions as to validity of bond issuances (including issuing and approving legal opinions on taxability of bonds and determining qualified tax-exempt obligation status), preparing and finalizing bond disclosure statements and providing general advice as to financing public works to the government authority located in Ann Arbor, MI.
(2) All question must be submitted no later than June 10, 2019.
(3) The contract term will be for five years.
