[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide lean six sigma consultation service for require an extensive evaluation of the laboratory current case management process and strategies, specifically addressing how they affect backlogs and turn-around times, utilized to make changes to the case management process and structure, identify bottlenecks in the system, assist in crafting potential solutions to remove those bottlenecks, and will foster a more efficient process that will decrease backlogs and case turn-around times, improving those processes and strategies in order to decrease backlogs and turn-around times, evaluate the statewide distribution of casework and movement of evidence, both between laboratories and between units in different geographic locations, receive complete case information at evidence submission and establish an efficient system for obtaining additional case information, improve or develop the means of obtaining adequate case information to guide body fluid identification processing, evaluate the current order of processing evidence between units in the laboratory, particularly time lost in waiting on backlog, assist in defining key data collection projects that will best demonstrate the effects of statewide case distribution, sharing evidence between units in the laboratory, receiving cases with incomplete information, prioritization of expedited cases, and the added requirements of cold and post-conviction cases to the government authority located in Lansing, MI.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than May 8, 2019.

[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
