Government Authority located in Lansing, Michigan; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for classification and compensation consultant services.
[A] Budget: Looking for proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide classification and compensation consultant services to the government authority located in Lansing, MI.
- Working with governmental agencies, public employers 750+ employees.
- Working with multiple labour unions.
- Training city staff and union representation on the classification structure and methods utilized.
- Properly classifying jobs when requested pursuant to the applicable collective bargaining agreements within an occupational class applicable to the work performed in each position.
- Performing a job analysis and evaluations upon request for the city’s current position descriptions, revise the existing classification structure, and develop new drafts of requested class specifications.
- Developing and implementing a workable benchmarking process for job analysis.
- Providing comprehensive customer service and ongoing administration of the classification and pay plan.
- Performing periodic reviews of positions upon request with comparison to comparable municipalities.
- Developing effective position questionnaires, desk audit and appeal forms, provide results within the timelines of the applicable collective bargaining agreements for all reclassification requests.
- Providing resumes for all consultants members who might be assigned on this project.
(2) A contract term will be for one year.

Onshore (USA Only)
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office premises.
