[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide street sweepings disposal services for the fiscal year period ending December 31, 2019, the city presently estimates 1,500 tons of street sweepings annually from city streets and state trunk lines to the government authority located in Mt. Pleasant, MI.
- Bids shall include all fees related to the transportation and disposal of the street and catch basin sweepings and no additional amount for labour, benefits, fuel, overhead, or other charges will be allowed
- The contractor will be responsible for supplying trucks to haul the debris on days mutually agreed upon by both the contractor and the city street department at least one workday in advance
- Material must be weighed on a State certified scale and weight tickets must be turned into the city no later than end of the next business day following disposal
- The sweepings shall be stockpiled and have had an opportunity to drain so as not to be saturated with water
