[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide Court Appointed Attorney Services to the government authority located in Howell, MI.
- Provide legal representation to completion in the following types of proceedings;
• Charged felonies;
• Charged high-court misdemeanors;
• District court misdemeanors in which a felony or high-court misdemeanor is part of the same transaction;
• Probation violations and deferred sentencing proceedings in Circuit Court;
• Conferences and hearings in District Court prior to bind over;
• Appeals to the Circuit Court by the Prosecutor;
• Personal Protection Order violation hearings;
• Paternity matters;
• Extradition hearings;
• Show cause and/or criminal contempt hearings for criminal and Family Court cases; and
• Other hearings, as required.
- Conduct a client interview as soon as practicable after appointment in a private and confidential setting.
- Conduct an independent investigation of the charges and offense as promptly as, practicable.
(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than November 19, 2018.
