[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide aero hive wi-fi network site survey and configuration services to the government authority located in Warren, MI.
- During the mapping process, note presence of masonry walls on paper layouts
- Separate, detailed report for each building that clearly states the technical specifications of the analysis gear, graphical RF signal strength maps for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz spectrums and detailed recommendations per access point to optimize RF signal strength and system performance within that structure, report shall include detailed identification of required relocation of existing access points or where additional access points need to be added for optimum coverage
- The college will move and add access points per the findings report prior to the remediation steps below
- Remediation using aero hive manager
- Access point configuration changes to optimize performance settings, power, co-channel interference, etc.
- Add the presence of masonry walls to improve predictive modeling capability of the Hive manager console
- Update access point location and identification in hive manager to accurately reflect the network as built
- Verify changes made in hive manager provide optimum performance by resurveying buildings and updating the site survey report for each building if required
