Government Authority located in Michigan; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for independent living life skills coach services.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide independent living life skills coaches services for students who are attending a community college for youth in transition funding to the government authority located in Michigan.
- The purpose of the youth in transition funding is to provide independent living services to eligible youth as defined,
- Send each prospective youth’s name and date of birth to the Education Analyst,
- Provide one or more Independent Living Skills Coach(s) to provide services to no more than 25 eligible youth at one given time,
- Send each prospective youth’s name and date of birth to the education analyst in the education and youth services,
- Assist youth to secure basic needs, such as housing, utility costs, food and clothing, as needed,
- Establish working relationships with appropriate and relevant campus departments and community partners to access services for youth and assist youth in moving toward self-sufficiency within both campus and community environments,
- Utilize a variety of communication methods to keep in regular contact with eligible youth, such as social networking, phone calls, face-to-face meetings, texting, etc,
- Provide support and encouragement to youth utilizing group settings such as, but not limited to educational and recreational activities,
- Training shall include:
- Overview of foster care and juvenile justice system,
- Positive youth development and related issues,
- Independent Living preparation and goal setting,
- Mentor role and responsibility,
- Limit-setting and appropriate boundaries,
- Positive and productive relationships,
- Program requirements and expectations for mentor candidates.
(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than October 17, 2019.
[C] Eligibility:
- Onshore (USA Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
