Government Authority located in Detroit, Michigan; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for investment advisor services.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide investment advisor services to the government authority located in Detroit, MI.
- Manage approximately $1 billion of assets, which includes operating and bond funds (non-pension) in accordance with investment parameter, the portfolio should be managed in a fiduciary capacity,
- Assist in the execution of an investment strategy appropriate for each fund and establish appropriate benchmarks,
- Evaluate market risk and recommend strategies that minimize negative impact on portfolio,
- Review cash flow projections developed by staff to ensure the planned investments are consistent with cash flow requirements and projections,
- Provide investment research and supervision of the managed funds in the portfolio and conduct a continuous program of investment, evaluation, and when appropriate sale and reinvestment of portfolio assets,
- Serve as a general resource to staff for information, advice and training,
- Execute securities purchases and sales with approved broker and dealers at a price favourable,
- Provide access to monthly reporting which include detailed portfolio holdings including accrued interest, amortized cost security ratings and market values, transaction details, principal and interest payments, earnings, and investment portfolio summary statistics,
- Review investment strategies, market conditions, and performance with treasury team on a monthly basis,
- Present quarterly investment reporting to audit committee in accordance with investment policy including a description of market conditions current and future market conditions, investment strategies employed, performance, and suggested changes to investment strategy,
- Maintain accurate records of all investments, these records must be available for periodic review and audit at any time,
- Annually, review the investment policy and provide written comments and recommended changes.
(2) A pre-proposal conference will be held on September 4, 2019.
(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than September 11, 2019.
[C] Eligibility:
- Onshore (USA Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
