Government Authority located in Lansing, Michigan; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for project management and construction management services.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide project management and construction management services on an as-needed basis, personnel experienced in oversight and management of projects relating to buildings, structures, foundations, electrical, HVAC, mechanical, and plumbing to the government authority located in Lansing, MI.
- Plan, conduct, and document periodic inspections of work in progress including materials, workmanship, and installations,
- Advise supervisors and contractors on interpretation,
- Conduct pre-construction meetings and close-out meetings,
- Schedule, attend, and participate in project planning and progress meetings,
- Maintain progress reports, quantity status, contract modifications, schedules, and other factors affecting projects,
- Evaluate, provide recommendation on change orders/requests and prepare pertinent documentation to justify the change, and gain approval to amend scope, schedule, or budget of the project/contract,
- Maintain records and prepare correspondence related to the work,
- Provide oversight and approve work performed by contractors and consultants,
- Review plans and cost estimates submitted by consultants, suppliers, and contractors,
- Examine and approve engineering and architectural drawings, design computations, or shop drawings for facilities/buildings in accordance with established standards, codes, and regulations,
- Evaluate contracts and payments to contracts to ensure they are in alignment with the state's and department's purchasing procedures,
- Track, monitor, and document status of facility projects and ensure alignment with cost, schedule, and scope,
- Assess estimated versus actual costs and recommend course of action based on substantive evidence.
(2) A mandatory pre-proposal conference will be held on September 6, 2019.
(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than September 12, 2019.
