[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide taxi and transportation network companies services
● Necessary personnel such as drivers, mechanics, administrative, and other to successfully operate the service.
● A physical location of a local operations office
● All incidentals such as insurance, fuel, repair, and maintenance necessary for successfully, legally, and safely operating the service
● A standard operating procedure, safety, and evaluation plan
● Any other required items for legally and safely operating a transportation service in Michigan.
● Any other required items for legally and safely operating a transportation service in accordance with FTA regulations.
● Compliance with Title VI regulations
- Service Design: The service design below is not final. DDOT encourages proposers to provide feedback and suggestions for program improvements that will benefit customers and their overall experience as well as their ability to access and maintain employment.
- Pick-Up/Drop-off Locations:
● A ride must either begin or end within Detroit city limits.
● Rides must be coordinated with transit operations to the extent feasible while maintaining a positive customer experience (total commute time, total transfers) and maintaining reliable access to job opportunities (on-time arrival).
- Hours of Operation:
● Contractor(s) must be able to provide rides twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week at the request of a rider.
- Vehicles:
● Vehicles capable of transporting at least two passengers
● Ability to deploy Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles (WAV) as necessary
- Payment:
● Ability to process payments from riders as well as third parties
● Ability to accept customers without access to debit or credit cards.
● Ability to keep track of customer credits and only bill DDOT for used credits.

(2) All question must be submitted no later than September 9, 2019.
(3) Contract period will be for two years.

[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
