Government Authority located in Michigan; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for backup internet solution with software-defined wide area networking managed solution.
[A] Budget: Looking for proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide a backup internet solution with a software-defined wide area networking managed solution that may develop will be available at the city intergovernmental trade network proposal system. Users must register with MITN to access the web site. Services would need to be provided at both our primary data center and two backup locations.
• 250 Mbps scalable to 1GB without any additional equipment and/or fiber into the facility
Acceptable modes include metro-ethernet, DS3, cable or fiber (DSL will not be accepted) and shall include any and all equipment required for connectivity and accessibility required for hand-off to the existing edge routers.
• Managed Router
• Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) Mitigations or some type or similar services
• Support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
• Public IP addresses
• Provide a bank of Public IP’s for HCMA’s Domain Name System (DNS) usage.
• Consideration shall be given to route the HCMA Public internet IP address through the backup connection should primary connectivity be lost.
• Full Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) route tables with alternative channels available
• Software-Defined Wide Area Networking (SDWAN) Solution
• Provide visibility and control of the network performance.
• Securely distribute network traffic across all locations and data center sites.
• Appropriate interface for HCMA to monitor all sites and service levels at all times.
(2) A non-mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference Call will be held on August 12, 2019.
(3) All questions must be submitted no later than August 14, 2019.
(4) Contract period will be for three years.
[C] Eligibility:
- Onshore (USA Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
