Government Authority located in Michigan; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for professional learning management system.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide professional learning management system for the administration, documentation, tracking, reporting and delivery of training programs within a professional organization.
- The PLMS would serve to support staff development through learning pathways, compliance tracking, hosted custom online training modules, as well as facilitate the scheduling and management of instructor-led trainings.
1. Improve the end-user experience.
The solution interface should be intuitive, easy-to-use and navigate for all end-users. Course offerings should be easily searchable and accessible from a desktop, tablet or mobile device. Registration for online and instructor-led trainings should be quick and easy for the end-user. Our end users should be able to track progress and completion of training and provide verification thereof to managers with ease.
2. Advanced functionality to support instructor-led and online training.
The district offers instructor-led, custom-built and previously purchased online training modules. The solution needs to have advanced capabilities (described below under “functional requirements”) to support all delivery methods from a user and administrative perspective.
3. Robust reporting and analytics.
Managers, administrators, and staff can access rich, detailed reports on the progress and completion of courses for their teams and individual team members, in an accessible format standard such as PDF, excel, and web reports.
4. Streamline the management of instructor-led trainings.
The district creates hundreds of new instructor-led training courses every year. It is important that the creation of new courses can be completed easily and efficiently in batches. The professional development administrator needs to efficiently create, schedule, disseminate, collect and share reports on instructor-led training.
5. Course Management.
Platform administrators must be able to easily build, upload and manage course content that is easily searchable in a course catalog. The platform should have the capability to build and assign training plans (i.e. a tailored series of relevant training sessions) to individual users and user groups.
