Government Authority located in Grand Rapids, Michigan; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for auction services.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide auction services for public sale of excess equipment and miscellaneous items to the government authority located in Grand Rapids, MI.
- The auction company shall conduct a public auction, as needed, at the county road commission facility or other location, as requested and designated by director of equipment and facilities.
- The auction company shall be responsible for all aspects to conduct a public auction including but not limited to, security, including security guards, communications, technical devices and support, equipment, all bookkeeping setup and closeout, supply listing of all buyers, itemize sales reports, and advertising reports.
- The auction company shall include as part of their services all labor necessary to properly setup the auction at the county road commission’s building one day prior to auction.
- The on-line auction company shall provide, monitor and maintain a secure and reliable on-line auction site to be utilized on an as needed basis.
- Each on-line auction shall be handled separately and under the direction of equipment and facilities.
- The on-line auction company shall be responsible for all aspects to conduct an on-line auction including but not limited to, technical devices and support, secured web site, communications, all record keeping, all applicable tax requirements, listings and transactions of the buyers, itemized sales reports and advertising reports.
- The on-line auction company shall coordinate to when and how the items are to be posted on-line, the pictures submitted, where the items are to be held and the hours for viewing.
- The on-line auction company shall assume all responsibility for equipment or items that are held at their facility during the time of the on-line auction.
(2) Contract term will be one year.
